In anticipation of the White House Executive Order on Quantum, Rebecca Krauthamer, CEO and co-Founder of QuSecure, commented:

This executive order matters because it puts dates on a security transition that can no longer stay theoretical. The timeline is compressing, with Google targeting 2029 for its own post-quantum migration and AI accelerating how quickly vulnerabilities can be found and exploited. This is not a simple software patch. It is a multi-year migration of the cryptographic foundations that protect government systems, contractor networks, critical infrastructure, and the data security modern society depends on.
